Tampons and vaginal dryness
Tampons are designed to do one thing – absorb – and these days they are very effective at doing this.
But as well as absorbing your period, they can also absorb too much of your body’s natural moisture. This can lead to discomfort, itching and soreness, especially towards the end of your period when your flow gets lighter.
Gentle and effective relief
To keep your vagina hydrated, add a drop or two of Sylk to the tip of your tampon applicator as this will help replace and replenish lost moisture as well as will make insertion easier.
If you are suffering from vaginal dryness during your periods, where practical, try not to use tampons at night. Use a couple of drops in and around your vagina before bed to help recover lost moisture and regain natural lubrication.
